They need Marvin Phaup as an adviser.

I worry about the inability of the Executive Branch to even organize around the issues. As I indicated but did not discuss much, I don't think that simply stacking up deficit reduction items one at a time does enough to address the direction of policy. My pet issue, on which I will write more, is that most of the growth in government spending and tax subsidies does little to promote inclusive wealth builiding in real, financial, and human capital.

Gene - Great analogies. I thought of one other: "can't roller skate in a buffalo herd". It would seem there are several ways to use that visual for the efforts that should be relatively easy with some skills but are not because of the large lumbering members of Congress that refuse to move.

Since we're using idioms, too many sacred cows, too much pork barrel spending, and too many Ayn Rand types. May a favorable election take place in November.

Hard to believe that no major political figure is willing to lead a restoration movement.
