45 years of Reaganism not only led to record income inequality (worse than even Robber Baron days and worse than any industrialized nation, even Great Britain), but also a flip in income's age distribution. Partly due to indexing Social Security, already the most regressive public pension plan on Earth (Reverse Robin Hood: transfers income from working poor with low life expectancy to long-lived middle class elderly who need supplements least). At the same time, vanishing union power (Reagan's and corporate war on unions, reclassification of workers into temps, "associates," adjuncts, intern trainees, independent contractors who can't be organized), discriminated women and minority domination of wage-earners, migration to anti-union Sunbelt, gutting of worker protections, and U.S. shift from shortest to longest workweeks with fewest vacation day (while most nations have early retirement for heavy-labor workers!

As an elderly person, I respectfully disagree. Oh sure, the ones, mostly men, who had 6 figure income while working can afford the cruise and the fancy retirement home, but I can't because I was a single mom who wasn't paid what I should have been paid while working. I never earned $5k plus each month while working, so I am lucky to get my $2k in social security now, but that won't get me into the fancy retirement home.

We need radical wealth disparity adjustments in America ASAP,or, just Roll guillotine today!
